I’m a Wisconsin-based wedding photographer dedicated to creating timeless images as beautiful as your wildest dreams.
But what I care about most is helping you become the bride you want to be, by empowering you to choose what matters most for your wedding day.
With a background in theatre and a degree in communication, I expertly weave your story into your wedding imagery, directing and curating moments so that your day flows naturally. Meaning you look and feel center stage the whole day, while relaxing and enjoying the people you chose for this special celebration of your love!
I am both extroverted and introverted, which has helped me immensely as I work with people, so I can fit into your wedding scene with ease—whether it’s laughing with Uncle Jim during family formals (and getting him to cooperate!) or squeezing your mom’s hand right before the sendoff. My goal is to seamlessly navigate your wedding day as both your photographer and your biggest supporter.
On a personal note, I’m married to an Army officer. I love tacos, reading, Broadway, deep conversation, and cooking. I don’t have any children, but I do have house plants—they are my babies. I color-coordinate my closet, and my t-shirt drawer would make Marie Kondo proud.
I’m a little bit of a sci-fi nerd and a lot a bit of a marketing nerd. But the most important thing that you need to know about me is that I love people, and my dream is to see you make an impact—whether its your love story impacting your children and grandchildren, or your business impacting the world. I love watching humans connect to one another. That’s probably why I love wedding photography so much. I think that Shakespeare was onto something when he made a study of humanity in his plays. The human connection is endlessly fascinating and inspiring.
I love literature in almost all forms. But greater than my love for literature is my love for Scripture. I grew up in a Christian home, where I was familiar with Scripture and the God of the Bible. But over the last year, I have developed a deep love for studying the Bible and the Gospel found within its pages. I would consider myself a Scripture-digger and a Christ-follower. My faith in Jesus Christ as the perfect and substitutionary atonement for my sin is the foundation upon which my life and business are built.
My favorite mornings are spent at my kitchen table with a cup of coffee, my open Bible, and my journal, with light pouring in the windows and warming the early chill out of the house. It is there that I am reminded of the great gift of God’s love and the truth that I am fully equipped to do what I am called to do.
